The 1224 East Elizabeth monument sign was designed and constructed in the late 1980’s. It’s a complex, two-sided sign with stone piers and additional business panels placed beneath the gold leafed address. The dimensional sign features hand-carved, gold-leafed letters, routed art elements, and the sandblasted, redwood panels.
Constructing the East Elizabeth Monument Sign
First, we stained the gray cedar siding background panel. Then, we custom-cut the white wood trim finishes, top and bottom. Finally, we routed, then hand-carved and gold-leafed the mahogany address panel. The two existing, moss rock stone piers contain the sign. The moss rock piers correspond with the stone used on the office building (not pictured).
