Window graphics and lettering are snazzy storefront options! And Frontier Gallery definitely wanted snazzy.
Since 1991, Frontier Gallery has featured a variety of guns. In addition, they’ve specialized in old antique firearms. However, their main focus turned to Old West and Frontier firearms up to, and including, WWII.
Rare firearms and royalty
Owner, Dave (“chief cook and head bottle washer”) has collected old guns for over 30 years. Consequently, he’s had many rare firearms. For example, he’s owned the Colorado Territory Spencer and the factory Engraved 1862 Presentation Henry Rifles. In addition, he’s presented numerous rifles to kings and royalty. So, in honor of the historic significance of his firearms, Dave wanted snazzy window graphics and lettering for his large storefront windows.
Turning it up a notch
Initially, Frontier had already decided to use their large storefront windows for their main signage. However, turning it up a notch, they chose gold leaf lettering. Overall, the effect reflects a by-gone era of the Old West.
Frontier’s window lettering and graphics details
To start, we designed and lettered the Frontier Gallery storefront window sign by using 23k gold leaf with matte centers. Then, we outlined them with oil enamel lettering paint. Last, we used enamel lettering paint for the window’s decorative elements and lower panel lettering. Below, you can see the quality gold leaf lettering in the detail photos.
