Locally owned, the pet retreat sits in a sunny foothills location on the west side of Loveland, Colorado. Their mission is to provide your pet with a safe, clean and loving environment. In addition, carefully trained staff work hard to ensure that your pets are active, well-fed and comfortable during their stay. Interested? How we made the Creature Comforts Dimensional Sign

By using gold leaf, we designed the Creature Comfort dimensional sign to be as eye-catching as possible. Importantly, this draws attention to its setback location on a Loveland area county road. We built the two-sided, gold leafed sign to measure 7′ x 6′, including the lattice base.

To start, we hand-carved the letters as well as the Scottie dog mascot that appears at the top of the sign. Then, we gold leafed each letter. In addition, we sandblasted the sign’s wood grained textured background panel into high-density urethane. The finished background surface looks exactly like genuine wood grain (see photos, below). Then, to finish, we used  three coats of exterior latex paint to guarantee the Creature Comforts sign will withstand Colorado’s four seasons for many years.
