frontier window lettering and graphicsWindow graphics – a snazzy storefront option

Frontier Gallery collects and sells firearms. In addition, they offer Old West and U.S. frontier weapons up to, and including, WWII. Gallery owner, Dave (“chief cook and head bottle washer”) has collected old guns for over 30 years. As a result, he has an enviable collection of rare and unusual firearms. For instance, he’s owned the Colorado Territory Spencer, and the factory-engraved 1862 Presentation Henry Rifles. What’s more, Dave has presented numerous rifles to kings and royalty. Needless to say, history is on display.

Creating window graphics of a bygone era…

Ultimately, Dave wanted traditional – yet snazzy – window lettering and graphics reflecting the treasures within. Above all, he wanted to take advantage of his large storefront windows. Turning it up a notch, he chose gold leaf lettering and hand-painted graphics to enhance the Old West cachet. In short, the overall visuals reflect a bygone era. Below, you can see the finished gold leaf lettering.

Window lettering and graphics – our specialty!

First, Paxton Signs designed and lettered the Frontier Gallery storefront window. To do this, we used 23k gold leaf with matte centers. Then, we outlined the letters with oil enamel lettering paint. Next, we used enamel paint for the window’s decorative elements, including the lower panel.
