Gold Leaf at its finest

Measuring a whopping 4′ x 6′, the Alias Smith & Jones sign is the largest residence sign in Paxton Signs’ Gallery of Residence Signs. Usually, these signs top out at approximately 18″ x 36″. Also, not only is the Alias Smith & Jones sign larger than the average residence sign, it is also more elaborate. For example, the gold leaf embellishments and hand-carved features are dominant elements. Specifically, the stallion, letters, dimensional banner, and the circular sand-blasted background are either hand-carved or sandblasted, featuring custom craftsmanship and gold leaf at their finest.

Accidents happen

Pictured, below, the Alias Smith and Jones Ranch sign is actually a second iteration. It replaces the first sign we designed and built in the late 1980s. Unfortunately, in 2009, a delivery truck leveled it. However – and fortunately for the owners – the delivery service’s insurance covered the replacement costs.
