The finished PEAK church custom sign is now installed! (See our first PEAK blog post on 8/9/24.) However, during the winter months it was stored at PEAK Church. Members of the church constructed two, 8-inch wood piers. In addition, they painted the piers to coordinate with the sign’s color scheme. Once finished, and after the ground had softened, they sank the piers and installed the sign in March of 2025.
Dazzling hammered silver-leafed letters
Handcrafted, the sign features hand-carved, faux-hammered, silver-leafed letters and a custom-shaped, hand-painted religious graphic. Additionally, the warm wood grain background is fashioned from refinished and stained recycled cedar fencing. As a result, the dramatic contrast between the aged recycled wood and the dazzling silver-leafed letters is stunning, particularly in sunlight.
Pictured below are several detail photos of the hand-carved, hammered, silver-leafed letters, as well as the religious graphic.
