Wild Side Smoke Shop
This week’s Featured Business, Wild Side Smoke Shop, needed a 1960’s look. They wanted retro lettering for their lighted storefront sign. We found “Hip Pocket,” a typeface that is both bold and 60’s retro. With a little font manipulation to improve readability, the design was ready for production.
We channel-lettered the shop’s name with LED illumination. We covered both the letters and banner in tomato-red vinyl, creating a bright, commanding presence both day and night. Fabrication was by Tom Meyer at Accent Signs, Loveland, Colorado. Check out Paxton Signs’ storefront signs and other boards on Pinterest at, https://www.pinterest.com/boliver0474/
