The Little Bird Bakeshop has been a valued client since 2010. The bakeshop was first located in Fort Collins in the former Old Town Ballroom building. We lettered their display windows at that location. Now, thirteen years later, the unique bakery has relocated to the former Canino’s Restaurant – another vintage location – at 613 S. College Ave.

Shabby-chic + recycled wood

Little Bird asked us to design and fabricate the storefront sign for their new South College location. So, we used their newly designed logo to create a shabby-chic, lighthearted sign that features loosely rendered lines, soft shapes, and the bakeshop’s new color palette. In addition, the sign is dimensional with individually hand-carved letters, a sandblasted raised logo oval, and organic art elements. Further, to fully utilize the shabby-chic cachet, Little Bird requested sandblasted, recycled cedar fencing as the sign’s background.

Location, location, location!

The custom, free-form sign measures 32″ x 77″, and is single sided. Presently, the owners plan to install their new sign on the existing steel canopy structure that extends and ends at the sidewalk entrance (see photo for future placement). As a result, it will have great visibility since it will be much closer to College Avenue traffic than most of the storefront signs in the area.
