Shabby-chic is now complete! A fun project – for some very nice people – is finished. From beginning to end, the Little Bird Bakeshop sign is an enjoyable departure from traditional sign-making approaches. Specifically, it features casual, uneven lines, weathered finishes on recycled wood, and irregular font faces. In addition, it has soft, pastel colors. Last, it has a popular French cottage, shabby-chicness not seen on most storefront signs.
The custom, free-form sign measures 32″ x 77″, and is single-sided. Additionally, once installed, the sign will have great visibility when mounted on an extended canopy structure. In fact, the structure extends from the bakeshop building, all the way to the sidewalk and curb on South College Avenue. Undoubtedly, this placement will give it tremendous visibility (See proposed placement photo, below).
Little Bird Bakeshop is now open for business. It offers “100% from scratch”, fresh-baked pastries, pies, cakes, light breakfasts and lunches.
