the tea table dimensional signThe Tea Table dimensional sign features multiple sign-making techniques: hand-carved letters and art, a gold-leafed logo, sandblasted sections, and hand-painted finishes. In addition, the iron-worked support is custom designed.

Currently, The Tea Table is an online store that offers over 200 loose-leaf teas, tea accessories, Bee House teapots, Tea of the Month Clubs, and great customer service.

Formerly (in 2000), The Tea Table was a walk-in store where customers could leisurely browse tea products and select from hundreds of loose-leaf teas and related products. At the time, it was the only shop of its kind in Fort Collins and surrounding area. The store developed an impressive following. Even so, after three years as a retail store, it became clear that The Tea Table’s products were in global demand. Soon after, they made the decision to forgo the storefront and become a global, online-only store.

How we made the Tea Table sign

We designed The Tea Table’s dimensional sign and logo by using an Old English theme. It was a traditional approach for both their product identity and physical signage. The sign is sandblasted and dimensional, using layers of high-density urethane and hand-carved art elements. A prominent, hand-carved, gold-leafed teapot graces the center of the sign. It is especially eye-catching in sunlight. Traditional black and green paint highlights the graphics and hand-carved elements. An elaborate iron hanging frame completes the traditional Old English theme.

The logo is pictured, below. We designed it for versatility: labels, advertising, marketing and, of course, signage.
